The Crystal & Hematite – Netted Rivoli Diamond Bracelet and Earring Kit is a simple and effective way of encasing sparkly rivoli stones using simple netting beading techniques. This kit is a great project if you’re looking to expand your beading weaving techniques. The Crystal & Hematite colourway uses the classic foil backed rivolis. With Czech glass hematite seed beads create a lovely metallic look. The kit contains all the materials you need to make a bracelet and a pair of matching earrings.

The instructions are easy to follow with clearly marked thread paths in each step.  New beads added in each step are highlighted to make it easier to see how the bracelet is built up. Along with the clear diagrams there are also comprehensive written instructions. There is also a link to additional resources to help you along the way including informative videos.

Once you’ve got to grips with making the small components, they are repeated and it only gets easier as you relax into the pattern.  Tension is very important in this project, which is something that comes with practice so complete beginners might find it a little challenging to start with.

The bracelet was designed by Steph Gibbs and has been taught as a workshop before it evolved into a kit.

A bead mat is also included in the kit, but you will find a pair of sharp Scissors useful.
