Part 1 - Earrings. Making drops using headpins learn to make the all important top loop!
Part 2 - Necklaces. Using different threads and finishing techniques with crimps, knots & clasps to make "spaced" necklaces.
Part 3 - Bracelets. Make bracelets using Memory Wire, a double thread pattern and Daisy Chain Bracelets.
Part 4 - Beadweaving. An introduction to Peyote .

All Day Basic Jewellery Making : 6 hrs (1 hour lunch) - £45.00
The majority of the activities described in the Basic Jewellery Making course above is covered in this one day course but we've put it into 5 hours of workshop time instead of 8. Although you will be taking on a lot of information, handouts covering the topics learnt are available for you to take home to help you remember what you have done. We do a simple bead weaving project but do not cover the peyote stitch on this workshop - we have found that by the end of the day it doesn't sink in!
Anything you make in the workshop, you keep and take with you.

All Day Intermediate Jewellery Making : 6 hrs (1 hour lunch) - £45.00
This is a great progression on from the basics or if you feel you are past basic level and want too develop your skills further this is the ideal workshop. In the workshop you will make your own findings using silver plated wire, create a knotted necklace, interpret beading from a foreign language and learn how to make a woven bracelet in circular herringbone stitch. Workshops include all materials and refreshments are provided.
CRYSTALLIZED - Swarovski Elements Workshop -
Intermediate ; Queens Ring : 3 hrs - £35.00
This spectacular ring has been created by the designers at Swarovski and we have
the instructions to show you how to make this ring using a simple bead weaving technique. You will weave together 3mm bicones to form a bezel to hold a stunning 18mm Swarovski stone that you get to take home. There is also a hand out sheet of instructions to take away with you (see image above).

 Charm Bracelet : 2 hrs - £18.00
Make a fun charm bracelet using colourful glass beads. You will learn how to make secure loop twists using headpins. This is a great jewellery project if you are keen to get started but not sure where to start.

WigJig Designing With Wire : 3 hrs - £25.00
WigJig is a popular tool in jewellery allowing the beader to create their own unique components for their designs instead of using off the peg items. The WigJig is used with all diameters of wire and beads to create either single items or identical components to form a bracelet or necklace. Learn how to manipulate the wire with some simple designs and familiarise yourself with the WigJig. Then make a complete necklace/bracelet and matching earrings using components made with the WigJig.

Tiaras: 6 hrs (1 hour lunch) - £50.00 includes £5 Shop Voucher!
Design and create a tiara using a variety of techniques from beads and crystals of your choice. Ideal for brides-to-be and bridesmaids. In the morning your will learn the basic techniques and design your tiara. Then in the afternoon, after purchasing supplies downstairs, we will then assist you in turning your idea into reality. Workshops include Tiara base, wire and the first £5 of beads.
Refreshments are provided. An hour has been allowed for lunch, which is not included - sorry!
Fascinator: 3hrs - £30.00
Using a selection of beads you will create a fascinator on either a head band or hair comb. The workshop will cover the basic techniques you need to know to create eye catching head wear perfect for a grand day out or a fancy party.

Sparkly Rings: 2 hrs - £18
 Create an elaborate sparkly ring with The Bead Shops own exclusive design from Swarovski crystal, seed beads and pearls. Can be made to any size and in the colours of your choice. This makes an excellent extra special gift and is the ideal project to get you started with basic bead weaving.

Wire Knitting : 3 hrs - £25.00
Learn how to knit a bracelet using a thin diameter wire with added beads! Knitting experience is needed for this workshop, you must be able to cast on, cast off, increase and decrease as there will not be time to teach the basics of knitting in the workshop!(see image above).

Corsage : 2 hrs - £20.00
Corsages are always popular as a brooch or to adapt for your hair. Using wire and Swarovski crystals you will be shown how to create woven petals to be developed into your flower or butterfly design. (see image above).

Freeform Wire Workshop : 3 hrs - £25
This workshop is a great opportunity to learn new wire working techniques using just your hands and pliers. You will create a bracelet using Czech glass beads to wear home (see image at top of page).

Swarovski Mix Jewellery Set Workshop : 2 hrs - £25
Using one of our 14 Swarovski mixes your will create a set of matching Necklace, Bracelet and earrings while learning basic jewellery making techniques such as loop making, you will also get to grips with beading wire and findings. A good fun project if you are just starting out or want a relaxed way to recap on the basics.

Spiral Rope Workshop : 3 hrs - £25
This workshop is a great project to introduce you to spiral bead weaving. You will make a classic bracelet using seed beads in your choice of colour which can make the perfect gift.

Polymer Clay Workshop : 3 hrs - £25
In this workshop you will learn how to design and make your own beads using Sculpey modeling clay in your choice of colours using a mixture of techniques.

Swarovski Elements - Slider Bracelet: 2 hrs - £20
This workshop is a great introduction to the use of the very sparkly slider component. You will string these together along with swarovski crystal beads to create a classic bracelet.

Beaded Critters : 2 hrs - £15
This is an ideal workshop for holiday activities. You will make a beaded keyring in either a ladybird, bee or crocodile. This is a fun basic workshop although a little patience is required. We welcome children over the age of 8 however we recommend that children under the age of 10 are accompanied by an adult.

Chainmaille Jewellery : 3 hrs - £30
Learn to link jump rings together in to smart pattern and start a bracelet to finish at home. The four pattern and six pattern mail methods are taught in this workshop. Once you have learnt the basic pattern then any chainmaille will be a easily mastered (see image above).
Bead weaving with Machiko - Berry Charms : 2 hrs - £25
The newest workshop from Machiko, our Japanese tutor will show you how to weave together crystals to make fun berry charms perfect for your handbag or phone.
Bead weaving with Machiko - Lacy Jewellery Set : 3 hrs - £35
This is one of our more recently designed workshops by our Japanese tutor Machiko you will weave together a necklace and matching bracelet using a mixture of Swarovski Bi-cones and seed beads. It creates a lovely elegant Jewellery set.
 Bead weaving with Machiko - Crystal Heart Pendant : 3 hrs - £30
Machiko, our Japanese tutor will show you how to weave together crystals to make a heart pendant. The chain is woven in as part of the pendant. 4mm Swarovski Bi-cone Crystals are used on supplemax thread in a right angle weave style. The colour of heart is yours to choose!
Bead weaving with Machiko - Necklace and Earrings : 3 hrs - £35
Taught by our Japanese tutor Machiko you will weave together a necklace and matching pair of earrings using 4mm & 8mm Jet Swarovski Bi-cones, Round Faceted Crystals and Seed beads on Supplemax. A great project if you are interested in Japanese beading styles.

Beginners - Ocean Drop Necklace : 3 hrs - £25
One of the easier workshop projects produced by the Swarovski Design Team. The Ocean Drop Necklace is made up from silver plated wire and 5000 (round faceted crystals). A good project to build confidence with jewellery wire.

Beginners - Necklace and Bracelet : 3 hrs - £40
Another beginners project which will help build confidence and teach one of many techniques to string a necklace and bracelet. Beading wire and crystals of various sizes are used to create a very impressive necklace and bracelet set. (see image at top of page).
CRYSTALLIZED- Swarovski Elements Workshop -
Advanced - Beaded Ring Pendant : 4 hrs - £45
This design will interest bead weavers, it'll take concentration and a level patience to complete. Repetitive but not boring this project creates a very sparkly, large 55mm diameter pendant made entirely with a large quantity of crystals using supplemax. Certainly not for beginners! (see image at top of page).
CRYSTALLIZED- Swarovski Elements Workshop -
Beginner - Chainmaille : 2 hrs - £25
This design will interest people curious about Chainmaille, using Sliver plated jump rings and Swarovski pearls your will trap the beads into the Jewellery design while building us the chainmaille into a bracelet and matching choker style necklace.
CRYSTALLIZED- Swarovski Elements Workshop -
Beginners ; Plaited Chain Necklace : 2 hrs - £45.00
Another design from Swarovski using beads, pearls and cord you will create a spectacular necklace. This is a good one off project to create an extra special piece of jewellery (see image above). The image at the top pf the page shows the pink option, you can also choose between Purple Velvet, Blue Zircon (turquoise) and Silver Shade.

Beads n Biscuits (drop in beading session) : 3 hrs - £1
The bead shop welcomes you to our new beading afternoon, bring along your current project and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and friendly company. It will give you a chance to pick the brains of the staff, for any advice or help you may need & gives you the opportunity to browse through our back issues of beading magazines. Tools and refreshments will be available. No booking necessary - just turn up and ask the shop staff who will direct you upstairs to the workshop room.
Snowflakes : 3 hrs - £25.00
These sparkly snowflakes are woven using Swarovski crystals and czech seed beads, they would make a lovely gift or add extra sparkle to your tree and made in small crystal beads make wonderful festive jewellery.
